Mission Trips

Mission trips allow us to live with and learn from our brothers and sisters in other parts of the country and around the world while sharing their struggles with hunger, poverty, natural disaster. We offer a helping hand, but most imporantly, we offer an open heart to all that we meet. There are opportunities for everyone to be invovled with mission trips at DPC, including participating in a trip, praying for trip particpants and for those whom with they will be working, and helping to provide supplies and support for volunteers.
A list of upcoming DPC mission trips and other opportunities to serve can be found below.

Southwest Mission Trip

October 2017
The annual one-week Work and Cultural Trip to the Navajo and Zuni reservations in New Mexico is being planned for October 2017. A brochure will be available in the church office, the library, and on the literature tables in Andrews Hall and the Church building. Our work experience will take place at The Community Pantry in Gallup, NM. This trip should cost $950 to $1,150 (double) per person / $1,250 to $1,450 (single) per person, depending on airline costs. This trip provides a unique opportunity to see the fruits of DPC's continued involvement and commitment to helping Native Americans in the Southwest.
