Presbyterian Disaster Assistance enables congregations and mission partners of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crisis situations in our country and around the world. PDA focuses on the long term recovery of communities that are impacted by disaster, and is funded through the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering and individual gifts.
Recent disasters that PDA has responded to include Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey, the midwestern Tornadoes, and the wildfires in the west. A full list of places where PDA is active in the United States is available here.
If you would like to donate to PDA in general or in support of a specific disater, please visit their contributions page.
