On Friday, October 26 at 7 pm we will present “Gaslight” (1944), directed by George Cukor. In this dark and moody psychological thriller, set in Victorian England, a newlywed husband (Charles Boyer) manipulates his young wife (Ingrid Bergman) to the point where she thinks she is going insane. The film was nominated for 7 Oscars, including best picture, best actor and actress, and best supporting actress, and won two (Ingrid Bergman for best actress and best production design).
