At DPC, we believe that Christ has called us to reach out to children and youth with God's love. We consider this ministry a high calling and a sacred trust. Therefore, we are committed to doing everything within our power to protect these young people from the possibility of abuse or neglect. It is our hope and prayer that in the midst of a troubled world, DPC can be a place where children and youth are safe.
The Good Shepherd Program is a set of established policies and practices that are in place to ensure that our children and youth are always in a safe, nurturing environment. For people who would like to work with children or youth, we require that they submit personal references and take part in a Good Shepherd training program after they have been members for at least six months.
We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to complete our Good Shepherd training process online at your own convenience.
Please note: you must be a member of Doylestown Presbyterian Church for at least six months before taking the training.
If you prefer not to use our online training module, you can sign up for one of our on-site training sessions, listed below. Contact Sherrie Murphy to sign up.
