At DPC there is a diverse, caring, and welcoming group of Christian women, with a goal to provide the following opportunities for you:
Spiritual Growth – Through PW gatherings, you'll be able to learn, share thoughts, and then apply these ideas to daily living.
Mission & Service – Every PW activity includes a mission component. Special mission trips are planned as well.
Fellowship – Meet women of all backgrounds and ages, and enjoy the company of church friends.
Activities are coordinated through the Presbyterian Women Committee and are publicized via website, e-mail, bulletin, and other forms of communication. Every woman is welcome to participate!

Studying and Living God's Word. We will meet in the library from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The curriculum is researched and selected by the group, based on mutual interests. Typically the group chooses to study a book of the Bible, including life application, with a new study selected every 12 weeks. The members are diverse in background, experience and opinion — this results in great discussion. The group is open to anyone, and new members are warmly welcomed. If you have questions please contact Trish Brewer ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. / 215-794-2511).
Seekers Of the Word. This year, we began our study of the Book of Esther using Beth Moore’s study called “Esther, It’s Tough Being a Woman.” Please join us as we seek to learn more about God’s nature and character in this book that never specifically mentions God. Together, we’ll peel back the layers of history and see how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to us. We currently meet Thursday mornings from 9:15 a.m. – 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. For more information, please contact Maria Schreiner (215-794-9495) or the church office.
Tuesday Evening Bible Study meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the library starting on Tuesday, September 20. We will begin with a study of Timothy Keller's short book entitled “The Prodigal God,” which we expect to finish in a few meetings, to be followed by another study to be chosen in September. T. Keller is a Presbyterian minister and author, who uses this book to show how the parable of the prodigal son shows God's message of hope and salvation through His grace to all, including the irreligious and the moralistic. We welcome new members to join us. For more information, contact Alice Vernon (215-348-1327).

These diverse, cross-generational groups, which include novice and experienced quilters, meet two times a week (Mondays and Thursdays) in Andrews Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds from work are donated to community charities designated by the group. Though the primary focus is on quilting, the group has assisted with all aspects of quilt making. Informal meetings provide opportunities for sharing and caring.
