Southwest Mission Work Experience Trip 2024

Are you searching for a way to grow in spirit while helping those in need?
Join others in your DPC family in the Southwest as we continue crucial mission efforts. We need to hear from you by January 25 so we can finalize plans.
- We will fly from Philadelphia to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and from there travel to our destinations by rental cars.
- Our work experience will be at the Community Pantry in Gallup, which DPC has generously supported for almost 20 years.
- Daily tasks may include bagging produce, assembling and distributing food boxes, and sorting canned goods. We may also help with garden projects in the hoophouses and community garden plots.
- We will be staying at hotels in Gallup and Albuquerque, NM, and the total cost (including airfare, rental car, and meals) is estimated to be between $1,400 and $1,600 for single room and between $1,100 to $1,300 for double room occupancy.
- A deposit of $50 (or $550 if we are arranging airfare) is due with your registration form due by January 25.
