Day of Service

Day of Service at DPC. Sign up to support a day of service on January 20th honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You can make a donation, sign up to volunteer, or both! The day will begin at 10:00am with a short worship service in the sanctuary building, followed by a wreath laying ceremony at the African American graves in the DPC graveyard. At 10:45am we will gather in Andrews Hall for our activities, which will include packing meals for Caring For Friends, assembling snack bags for Hunting Park Christian Academy, and making American ribbon pins for Welcoming the Stranger. We will also be offering a hot cocoa and bake sale (by donation), with proceeds benefiting the African American Museum of Bucks County (bring some cash and take home a treat or two!). All ages are welcome at this event, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Parking will be available in the church’s lot, located at the intersection of Selner Lane and Church Street. Participant check-in will occur in the Celtic Cross Room, on the first floor of the sanctuary building, beginning at 9:40am.
