In an effort help foster change in our country and community - and as Pastor John Willingham's ongoing discussion gatherings have generated great interest - DPC is offering two additional opportunities for discourse on race relations.

  • DPC's Youth, led by Pastor Josh Gill and Crystal Clemente, began a virtual discussion series last week guided by the young adult version of the award-winning book Stamped. The first session was well attended and fostered meaningful interaction among all participants. Even if you haven't read the book, you will be able to follow and take part in the discussion. The group continues to meet each Monday at 8 pm through August 10 on Zoom. Email Crystal at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to register.
  • Beginning on July 1 and meeting on Zoom each Wednesday through August 5 from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, Pastor Josh and members Honor Ford, Brynne Hunter, and Katie Toner, present a discussion group focused on the bestselling book White Fragility. The aim is to combat racial injustice through Christ-like compassion and clarity by examining the book, along with related podcasts and articles. Click here to register. Click the video below to hear from the hosts of this offering as they explain what this series is all about. NOTE: This discussion group is full. We will make you aware if similar opportunities become available soon.
