The Pastor Nominating Committee Extends a Call
The Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) is thrilled to report that we have extended a call which has been accepted for the position of Senior Pastor/Head of Staff.
At last night’s Session meeting, we updated the Session on this exciting news and they have called for a congregational meeting to occur Sunday, September 15, immediately following the 10:30 am worship service. We will have only one worship service at 10:30, where the candidate will be introduced and provide the sermon. The congregational meeting will begin following the benediction for a vote by the DPC members to approve the call and the terms of the call.
The worship service will be livestreamed as normal and then members who need to attend the congregational meeting online will switch to ZOOM. Please note that for those attending the meeting online, each person will need a separate device in order to vote (more details will follow closer to the date.)
The congregation that this candidate is currently serving is not aware of this call, consequently we are maintaining confidentiality. We will be hosting a Meet and Greet on Saturday, September 14, at 4 pm in Fellowship Hall where we will introduce the candidate.
